About the NABA Richmond

The NABA Richmond is the Most Exciting 18+ Summer Wood Bat Baseball League in the Richmond area! Nationally affiliated with the National Adult Baseball Association. Teams play throughout Henrico county, Chesterfield county, Deltaville and the northern neck during the regular season,

The National Adult Baseball Association (NABA) is a nationally-recognized baseball league. The NABA Richmond league was established in 2008 in Richmond, VA. Our league is for players 18 and older. The league is a competitive league; the majority of players in the league have played atleast high school level baseball. Games are 9 innings, wood bat only. Player dues vary from team to team, but around $200 per player for the season - sorry there are no refunds.

SCHEDULE:

Season begins first week of June and runs through the middle of August. Season is made up of 15 games on average, plus playoffs and championship series at the end.

FREE AGENT LIST and DRAFT DAY (and how that works):
You are able to register as a Free Agent for the upcoming season, by clicking on the Sign Up As Free Agent tab at the top of this page. Once you complete your information, you will be invited to the upcoming Free Agent Draft Day, and be in the free agent portal for teams looking for players! The Draft Day will be your opportunity to get selected and added to a team for the upcoming Summer season. At Draft Day, we will hold a try out, where you will get to hit, take infield, and pitch. All teams/managers will be present then, and you will get drafted to a team then!

If you can't make Draft Day, and/or sign up after that has occured. You are sign able to sign up as a free agent, and we will work to get you added on a team. If we get 15+ free agents on the list, we will attempt to create a team from the free agents. However, most of the already formed teams will scoop up the majority of the free agents prior to the season starting.

To be on the Free Agent list, there is a $50 fee that is a deposit. If you are picked up by a team that money is credited as your player dues.
